Role and Responsibilities
Project Superintendent / Foreman for new construction commercial, residential, multi-family projects as it relates to drywall, metal stud framing, and acoustical ceilings. Requires travel to multiple jobs sites daily throughout southeast Michigan.
• Schedule, direct, and manage multiple crews across multiple job sites
• Measure and order material
• Enforce and maintain a safe work environment
• Daily communication with Project Managers, Builders, Homeowners, and Subcontractors for scheduling, progress, and quality of work
• Monitor and consistently check all jobs and subcontractors for quality, progress, and to confirm job completion
• Subcontractor payroll
Qualifications and Education Requirements:
• Knowledge and experience working with metal framing, drywall, acoustical ceilings, and repair work
• Previous construction supervisory experience for commercial and/or residential projects
• Ability to read construction blueprints/architectural plans
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Ability to Multi-task
• Computer literate and ability to use online management software
• Strong safety mindset
• Ability to problem solve and resolve conflicts
• Leadership skills
• Ability to work independently under general direction
• Proactive, Motivated, and Open-minded
• Valid driver’s license and good driving record

Preferred Skills
• 5+ years of experience in the construction industry
• Understanding of wall assemblies, fire ratings, and applicable building codes
• Understanding of framing, drywall, and acoustical ceiling installation and repair
• Telehandlers certification
• OSHA certification
• First Aid, CPR, AED certification
